It's never fun having long flights and multiple connections but when you're the last one to be fed, food choices have run out and one bag lost it does spoil it a bit! But it can only get better.
It is great to be back on Salt Spring Island. Claire, Phil, Amelia and Lily all in good form and the place as beautiful as ever. Andrew and I made a quick trip to town to get socks, jocks, shorts and t-shirt before heading to the markets to introduce James to some of Amelia's friends.

This afternoon was spent preparing for Lily's 9th birthday party - The Robertson's, Denis Cathy and Aaron McCluskey and Kerry. A delicious roast chicken followed by lemon meringue pie ( and too much alcohol - again)
